We started Monday with selling during the cash session which was unable to take price back into the Delta Zone for a retest of support. Price during the initial 40 minutes of the cash session traded to the 871.25 level for our LOD, and from that point on it was strong rally mode the rest of the day. The significant Delta Zone of support that was tested again in the Sunday to Monday after hours session proved to be very reactive . Buyers launched price out of the Delta Zone and for the most part maintained control during most of the cash session. Buying the after hours session pullback into the Delta Zone worked out exceptional well, with the market trading as high as 897.75 going into the close. That was a single day +30 point move from LONG trade entry in the Delta Zone at the 866-867 levels to our days high.
The 15 minute futures close out just after the cash session close did produce a Delta Divergence SHORT set-up. I do expect the SHORT trade entry price of the 896.75 level to be tested again in the after hour session tonight. I would be willing to look for additional SHORT entry opportunities tonight at the 897.75 level or higher with proper Delta based order flow transition signals.

Tonight in our Sunday after hour session we have had the ES trade right back to the top of the Delta Zone. There is several hours to go prior to the EU session start and price is already hovering near the 868 area so far. This is setting up for a very interesting after hour session at this point with price trading into the Delta Zone. I will be looking for LONG scalps tonight out of the Delta Zone with our positive Delta Divergence still in place.

Friday July 10th
Today we had our first test so far of the new Delta Zone in price with a strong positive Delta Divergence in place. There was a perfect LONG intraday trade entry set-up just after price traded to the 868.75 level, the top of the new Delta Zone. I will be watching for any return of price back to test this new zone prior to today’s close.

Today there has not been any new tests of recently created support and the market traded as high as the 884′s several times. The market seems to be digesting our recent bust through major support and the formation of a new Delta Zone of resting LONG inventory. I will be tracking the Cumulative Delta trading into Friday for any new significant events.

Well, we finally had the test of support I have been looking for. The major Delta Zone of support which has made up the bottom of a multi-week range of price (870′s to 950′s) was finally neutralized. For the most part, the previously entered and then held LONG inventory has been neutralized from the 876.00 to 872.75 Delta Zone. Next we had range extension to lower pricing levels, which did bring in the buyers just after the LONG inventory neutralization effect completed.
