Our new multi-week high of the 984.00 price level was traded to in the after hours session prior to Monday’s US cash session open. This price level did attract sellers who then stayed in control of the ES into the start of the US cash session. The ES remained weak for the first hour of the cash session and traded as low as the 969.00 level. Buyers eventually entered back into the market Monday and we have rallied back to the 980.00 level here at the close. The Delta Threshold created as sellers sold the trade to the 984.00 level in the after hour session has now been totally neutralized, no significant resting SHORT inventory in the cumulative delta remains for the day.

My Delta Divergence SHORT trade set-up from Thursday prior to the close has worked out well. The MSFT earnings news into the after hour session brought in additional selling for the ES and extended the gains of my SHORT trade set-up. As the market transitioned from the after hours session into Friday’s day session US market open, the bulls appeared to be positioned well for another run. With a strong positive Delta Divergence in place as the ES traded at the lows for the day, we had exceptionally strong buying conviction grab a hold of the order flow bias all the way into the days close. The ES finished a great trading day on very significant positive order flow while making new multi-week highs, my hats off to the bulls on that run!

After hours into the cash session open had a few trade set-ups as the ES traded into the Delta Zone of price. After the US cash session open there was an extremely strong short covering rush in the order flow as the Delta Zone of price is challenged early. The ES has neutralized all resting short inventory from the recently formed Delta Zone and I am looking for continued strength in the ES with high 960′s to the 970′s ahead. The neutralization of the Delta Zone of resistance has created excellent price reactivity as the bulls hold control.

The ES has formed a new Delta Zone of resistance from 953.00 to 956.25 as we trade into Wednesday. There is substantial quantities of resting held SHORT inventory that was entered by sellers in this new Delta Zone. I will sell the ES aggressively with all qualified Delta based SHORT signals with any trading in our new Delta Zone of resistance.

I have been looking for the ES to finally make it back up to test the 952 area. In the after hour session the 952′s were traded through to make a new multi-week high. I will start shifting my bias back to aggressive selling as I watch the buyers order flow activity with any trading near our new high.
